MOBILE, Ala – Former Utah State quarterback Jordan Love was 4-of-6 passing for 26 yards in helping the North squad to a 34-17 win in the Reese’s Senior Bowl, held Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. In all, Love played 27 offensive snaps and had 33 yards of total offense.

Love started the game for the North and played 12 offensive snaps in the first quarter as he was 2-of-4 passing for 15 yards. Love, who did not play in the second and third quarters, played 15 offensive snaps in the fourth quarter, as he was 2-of-2 passing for 11 yards, to go along with two rushes for seven yards, which included a 3-yard rush on  fourth-and-1. The North squad and Love ran 13 plays during the final drive of the game to seal the win.

Love had a solid showing in three practices leading up to the Senior Bowl and was voted the North squad’s Offensive Player of the Week at the quarterback position.

Next up for Love will be an appearance in the 2020 State Farm All-Star Football Challenge at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The 22nd edition of the State Farm All-Star Football Challenge will air on ESPN2, at 7 p.m. (MT), on Friday, Jan. 31.

The skills competition will feature 24 of college football’s brightest stars divided into six teams based on their college conference. Each team will consist of four players from the same conference that will compete for conference supremacy in a series of skills competitions. The conferences represented are the ACC, the Big Ten, the Big 12, the Pac-12, the SEC and four of the best players outside of the Power Five that will be called the “Wild Card” team.

Some future dates of importance for Love include the NFL Combine, which will be held Feb. 23-March 2 in Indianapolis, USU’s Pro Day, which will be on Wednesday, March 25, and the NFL Draft, which will take place April 23-25 in Las Vegas.

Love earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors this past season as he was 293-of-473 (.619) passing for 3,402 yards with 20 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.

For his career, Love set school records with 9,003 yards of total offense, 12 career 300-yard passing games and four completions of at least 80 yards. He finished his career 689-of-1,125 (.612) passing for 8,600 yards with 60 touchdowns and 29 interceptions, and ranks second all-time in school history in passing yards, completions and attempts, tied for second all-time in touchdown passes, and is third in completion percentage. He was 21-11 (.656) as USU’s starting quarterback, which are the second-most wins in school history, and he is also second all-time in school history with three-career 400-yard passing games.
