LOGAN, Utah Utah State’s Autumn DeHarde has been named the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Co-Beam Specialist of the Week, as well as the Floor Specialist of the Week, following her performance in a dual meet against then-No. 17 BYU last Friday night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

It is the sixth and seventh time this year, and 11th and 12th time in her career, that the junior has picked up a weekly honor from the MRGC. Overall, these are Utah State’s 13th and 14th weekly accolades this season and the 43rd and 44th honors in its fifth season in the league.

DeHarde captured a pair of titles for the Aggies last weekend against the Cougars to help USU close out the home portion of its schedule with a 196.600-196.450 victory over BYU. With the win, Utah State went a perfect 4-0 at home this season, marking just the third time in school history it has posted a perfect record at home, joining the 1978 (8-0) and 1979 (5-0) teams.

The native of Sussex, Wis., captured the beam crown with a 9.875 and the floor title with a career-high 9.950, which is tied for second all-time in school history. She now has 12 career beam titles, which ranks first all-time in program history. Her eight career floor titles is tied for 10th all-time and her five beam titles on the year is tied for fifth in single-season school history.

DeHarde is tied for first in the MRGC and tied for 27th nationally with a national qualifying score of 9.895 on beam. She averages a team-best 9.889 on the event. On floor, DeHarde is tied for first in the conference and tied for 43rd in the nation with an NQS of 9.890, averaging 9.883 on the event.

As a team, Utah State ranks first in the MRGC and 19th in the nation with a beam NQS of 49.105. The Aggies are averaging a 49.039 on the event with a season-high of 49.575, a school record performance set at the Boise State quad meet on Feb. 21.

Utah State (7-6-1), which is ranked No. 29 in the latest national poll, closes out the regular season when the Aggies travel to Salt Lake City to take on No. 4 Utah (11-0) on Friday, March 13, at 7 p.m., at the Huntsman Center.
