A Hyrum City resident drops his vote in the ballot box Tuesday morning.

LOGAN – Utah will help shape the presidential primary this year on Super Tuesday along with 14 other states. The Presidential Primary in Cache County is being conducted by mail and early voting ends Monday.

If you are mailing in your ballot, it needs to be postmarked no later than March 2, 2020.

Drop boxes will be open through 8 p.m. on Election Day March 3.

There are four 24/7 drive up ballot drop boxes located in the following locations:

  • West parking lot behind County Administration Bldg – 179 N Main, Logan
  • Logan City Office – 290 North 100 West, Logan
  • Hyde Park City Office – 113 East Center, Hyde Park
  • Providence City Office – 164 North Gateway Drive, Providence

All ballot drop off locations are located on the Cache County website www.cachecounty.org/elections.

Voters who are not registered, but are otherwise eligible to vote, may vote provisionally in person on Tuesday.

Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. at the Cache County Administration building, 179 North Main, Logan.

The Utah Republican Party has a closed primary while the Utah Democratic Party has an open primary election.

In a closed primary election, participants have to be a registered member of that specific party to be able to vote. With an open primary election, anyone from any political party can participate.
