LOGAN – For the sixth straight year Utah State University’s online bachelor’s programs have been recognized among the nation’s Top 25 by U.S. News & World Report.

Rene Eborn of USU’s Academic and Instructional Services office said the ranking process is very thorough.

”It looks at your curriculum, it looks at your interaction with faculty members and it looks at how your peers view you, as well,” Eborn explained. “Not only do they rank you, but other schools across the nation rank you, based on the quality of your graduates and the quality of your programs. It’s actually a very good indication of the whole country.”

Eborn said new online offerings will be added by USU very soon.

“And in the next two years you’ll be seeing USU online is going to be going very aggressive in working in some of the STEM areas and technology areas, putting degrees online to make it accessible for adult learners across the state.”

USU was also selected sixth in the nation for its online master’s education program, 18th in the nation for its online veterans bachelor’s program and was also ranked on the online MBA list for the first time.
