Wintry scene in Hyrum late Sunday afternoon.

If you have travel plans early Monday, lake effect snow showers are expected to develop overnight across the Salt Lake and Tooele Valleys with anywhere from a trace to three inches accumulation.  Winter driving conditions are possible during the morning commute.

Temperatures in the Cache Valley will stay colder than we’ve had recently.  Highs on Monday will be in the mid-20’s.  Lows Monday night will dip between zero and five-above.  After light snow Sunday night/early Monday morning, no  more storms are in the forecast for  this week and temperatures are expected to warm back  to the upper 30’s by the end of this week.
