LOGAN — A semi-truck fire early Tuesday morning partially blocked traffic along Airport Road. The fire was reported at 4:45 a.m. near 515 W. 2500 N.

According to emergency radio traffic, a passerby called 911 after seeing the westbound truck with flames coming from its brakes. The driver of the semi was attempting to extinguish the flames by himself.

Several fire units responded. They reported flames and smoke coming from the trailer, when they arrived on the scene.

Police diverted all westbound traffic on 2500 N. while firefighters extinguished the blaze.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The truck was hauling two trailers filled with grain.
