October 12, 1954 – March 3, 2020 – (age 65)It is with great sadness that the family of Retha Joy Jeppson announce her sudden and unexpected passing on Tuesday, March 3,2020 at the age of 65.
Retha is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best fishin’ buddy, John and her sons; Jared, Eric (Barbara), Vince (Mckenzie), daughters; Betsy (Cody), Amber (Matt), John’s children London (Milly), Andrew, Ryan, Colby, Angela, Katie (John), Shawn, Sam. Her brother, Vern (Kerrie) and sisters Rosie (John), Barbara (Gene), and Margie (Steve), her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Born October 12, 1954, Retha was a beautiful and adventurous child and always enjoyed time spent with family camping and fishing. Her one goal in life was to be a mom and in addition to the family she bore or her own she welcomed and embraced every person who came into her life with the loving arms and honest heart of a mother.
Retha found her soulmate and eternal companion in John and married him for all time and eternity in the Logan Temple on December 7, 2002. She went on to make her home in Plymouth, Utah and spent the final years of her life working sweetly beside her husband as an Ordinance Worker at the Brigham City City Temple.
Retha is preceded in death by her Father and mother, Leo and Erma Owen and her grandson, Johnathon Doerr. Retha was a beautiful light upon this earth and touched the souls and hearts of all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 at 12:00 noon at the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Ward House, located at 16925 North 5200 West, Riverside, Utah. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 – 11:30am prior to the funeral.
