OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Police are investigating after rabbit hunters in northern Utah found a human body near the Idaho border this weekend.

The Ogden Standard-Examiner reports (http://bit.ly/2cr5r9d ) that police believe the body had been there for some time before it was discovered near Interstate 84’s Hansel Valley, Utah on Sunday.

The Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office says in a statement that investigators are treating the death as suspicious.

Authorities say the person hadn’t been carrying identification at the time of death. The body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
