A two vehicle accident south of Inkom, Idaho killed two people Tuesday night. Idaho State Police report the accident occurred on I-15, near mile-post 57. Jacob Arnold and Nicolas Bozorg-Omid both from Pocatello were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, Arnold and Bozorg-Omid were passengers in a 2003 Acura, driven by Andre Lopez of Chubbuck, Idaho. The vehicle was traveling south when it lost control, drove off the roadway, through the median, and into the northbound lane.

The back of the car was hit head-on by a Ford F-150 pickup, driven by Richard Kmetz of Bonner, Montana. Police say it’s unclear if Arnold and Bozorg-Omid were wearing their seatbelts.
