HBO(LOS ANGELES) — In a new documentary, HBO is giving fans a close-up look at the comic genius that was Robin Williams.

Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind will feature interviews with family members and close friends of the beloved comic and Oscar winner, who took his own life in 2014. It will also include never-before-seen footage charting Williams’ life through childhood, through his stand-up career and small screen stardom with Mork and Mindy, to his movie career, and more.

The documentary will feature archival footage of the one-of-a-kind comic, as well as memories from close friends like Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, David Letterman, Steve Martin, Monty Python star Eric Idle, Williams’ Mork and Mindy co-star Pam Dawber, and his son, Zak Williams.

The project debuts on HBO on Monday, July 16.
