January 11, 1940February 27, 2020 – (age 80)

Myrna Scott Call, 80, resident of Malad, Idaho passed away on February 27, 2020.

She was born on January 11,1940 to Walter and Jiammia Neal Scott in Malad. Raised in Stone, Idaho and attending school in Stone, Malad and Bear River.

Having a brief marriage to Phillip L. Geary and welcoming her first of four children Nicholas Scott Stokes. Later marrying Jimmy L. Stokes and having three more children: Renee Stokes Setema, Loren Scott Stokes, and Earl Lee Stokes. Spending her time as a home maker chasing kids and rounding up animals in West Weber, Utah and Stone, Idaho.

As her two youngest sons were finishing high school she enrolled in a Nursing program at ISU receiving her LPN and continuing her education at CSI. Going on to pursue a full-time career caring for elderly patients with many years spent serving the Oneida County Nursing Home.

Myrna had a love for animals, people and collecting rocks. Often coming home with full pockets of rocks.

She is survived by her four children: Nicholas Scott Stokes, Renee Stokes Setema, Loren Scott Stokes, and Earl Lee Stokes, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, her husbands: Jimmy L. Stokes and Monte W. Call, a daughter-in-law and a grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 12:00 noon in the Holbrook LDS Chapel, 100 North 100 West, Malad, Idaho. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:30 – 11:30am prior to the funeral.  Burial will follow in the Holbrook Cemetery.
