LOGAN — A multiple vehicle crash Monday night shutdown a portion of Valley View Highway, 200 North, on the west side of Logan. The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. near 1700 West.
Logan City Police dispatch operators confirmed the accident involved at least three vehicles. Visibility at the time was restricted because of thick ground fog.
Police officers shutdown both lanes of traffic between 1000 West and 1900 West so crews could clear the crash. Traffic was diverted onto 200 South.
A second crash occurred nearby at 1800 West because motorist failed to slowdown in time for the initial crash.
There were no reports of any major injuries.
