LOGAN — A snowmobile accident Saturday afternoon claimed the life of a Logan woman.

According to early reports, Raysha Nielsen was the passenger on a snowmobile, riding in the Hilldale Canyon area, east of Franklin, Idaho.

Friends of Nielsen said she was reportedly thrown from the snowmobile and hit a tree.

Nielsen is the daughter of Rich Gladfelder, owner of Renegade Sports, 1903 South 800 West.

As news spread about Nielsen’s death Sunday, friends and family posted messages of condolence on social media sites.

According to Nielsen’s Facebook profile, she graduated from Sky View High School in 2010 and worked for Renegade Sports the past 12 years.

She was married to Cory Nielsen. Together the couple had one son.
