Missing person alert for Clara Didericksen.
LOGAN — Police have canceled the search for Clara Didericksen. The 48-year-old woman was found safe Saturday morning, a day after police asked for the public’s help locating her.
The Logan City Police Department announced Saturday morning, “Clara Didericksen has been located. Thank you to our citizens for all of the assistance!”
Friday afternoon, police issued an attempt to locate Didericksen, after she walked away from group home. Officers said she had left her home in the past but had always been quickly located at several locations she frequented.
Diedericksen had last been seen Thursday afternoon, a concern because of the cold weather and her ability to take care of herself on her own.
