LOGAN – Members of the public are invited to meet the candidates for the Logan Municipal Council on Wednesday, Oct. 18.

The 90-minute forum will be held in the City Council Chambers starting at 6 p.m. and will be moderated by Jason Williams, the host of “For the People” on KVNU.

The candidates still in the running for three at-large seats on the Logan council include incumbents seeking re-election Mark A. Anderson and Jeannie F. Simmonds, plus four challengers.

Those candidates are homeless advocate Erin Bennett; photo/video producer Mike Johnson; Hillcrest Neighborhood Council Chair Katie Lee-Koven; and former City Council member Joe Needham.

Incumbent city council member Tom Jensen is not seeking re-election.

More information about each of the candidates can be found at https://www.loganutah.org/gov…/mayor_s_office/election.php

Members of the public who attend the forum will have an opportunity to pose questions to the candidates.

The forum will also be heard live on KVNU and viewed on the city’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFLPAOK5eawKS_RDBU0stRQ
