Kevin Gary Daniels of Malad, Idaho passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 after battling an illness with his kidneys and liver.
Kevin was born on April 13, 1954 in Ogden Utah. He graduated from Malad High School, class of 1972. He married Sherrie Waldron April 21, 1973 in Samaria, Idaho, they had one daughter, Tressa J. Daniels. Following his marriage to Sherrie he married Mary Lynn Price. Together they had two children, Heather Daniels (Ekstrom) and Matthew Devon Daniels. Later in life he married Alexis Bybee and adopted her young daughter Jade. He spent his last few years with Karen Coleman. Together they enjoyed watching basketball and taking drives to nowhere.
Kevin loved to golf, watch football, play pool, babysit all of his grandchildren – Isabelle, Jaylee, Ella, Emree, Kyler, Olivia, and Millie Mae, and spend time with his friends – who he valued as much as his family. His great love was the Daniels Ranch. Whenever he couldn’t be found, you could bet that he was either at the Hub Cap playing pool with his friends or out at Daniels enjoying the country .
He is survived by his four children and his sister; Tressa of San Diego, California, Heather of Malad, Idaho, Matt of Wellsville, Utah, Jade of Malad, Idaho, and his sister Sandy Foxley of Roy, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ina and Devon Daniels and his big brother Craig.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 11:00am at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 West 300 North, Malad, Idaho. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service for an open house from 10:00 – 11:00am. Kevin wished to be cremated and scattered over Daniels Ranch, therefore there will be no cemetery service.
