Snowman appears to not like the recent inversion

The last couple of days the inversion lifted with the result being some blue skies and sunshine.  Unfortunately the inversion didn’t travel far and will start building in again Tuesday through Thursday of this week.   The National Weather Service says as warmer temperatures will begin to move in overhead, we can expect an inversion to redevelop in northern Utah valleys through the middle of the week, causing valley haze and deteriorating air quality .

Potential relief will arrive by Thursday as a front is expected to move across the start over the course of the day on Wednesday.   By Friday, at the latest, air quality conditions should start to improve with the arrival of the next storm system bringing rain and snow.  For up-to-date air quality readings for Northern Utah counties like Cache, visit www.air.utah.gov
