Disney/Pixar(NEW YORK) -- Incredibles 2 has become the latest film to reach the $1 billion earnings mark, becoming the seventh animated feature and 36th film overall to achieve that milestone.

The Disney/Pixar animated superhero film is the fourth release of 2018 to earn more than $1 billion, joining Disney/Marvel's Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, and Universal's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. It's also the fifth Disney animated feature to earn at least $1 billion, along with Frozen, Toy Story 3, Finding Dory and Zootopia. In total, 18 Disney films have surpassed $1 billion in earnings.
