PERRY, Utah (AP) — Authorities in Utah say an Idaho man was killed when an SUV rear-ended his vehicle.

KSL-TV in Salt Lake City reports (http://bit.ly/1NPtqwA) that investigators on Saturday identified 43-year-old Jesse McKenney, of Victor, as the driver fatally injured.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, McKenney was traveling on I-15 on Friday afternoon near Perry when he slowed down for traffic.

The UHP says a woman driving a Ford Expedition failed to notice and crashed into McKenney’s vehicle.

The impact pushed McKenney’s Ford Focus into the median.

The Expedition then crashed into another vehicle.

McKenney later died at a hospital in Ogden.

The woman and her three children were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The third driver was not injured.

Authorities have not said whether anyone will be charged.
