“It’s one of my all time favorite days of the year,” said Director Esterlee Molyneux.

Last year, over 600 people attended The Family Place’s Princess Party. Molyneux expects that same number of participants this year.

Children at the event will spend a couple of hours with princesses such as Elsa, Cinderella, Rapunzel and newcomers Moana, Leah and Penelope. There will be a tea party, crafts, and a royal ball.

Molyneux said everyone is welcome to attend.

“We have children from all ages. Boys and girls come,” she said. “We have had service men and women in their uniforms escort their princes and princesses to the party. We have had daddy daughter dates, mother son dates and we’ve had grandparents who have brought their grandchildren to create some really special memories. There are a million photo ops.”

The Family Place is a non-profit organization geared to strengthening families and protecting children.

“Not only is this a fun way for families to spend time together, but it’s also a way to raise funds for The Family Place,” Molyneux said. “These sweet children will have the experience of a lifetime and go home tired and happy.”

Tickets are $20, with all proceeds benefiting The Family Place. Princess Passes for hair up-do’s and extra craft are available for an additional $10.
