Hilario Loya passed away due to natural causes surrounded by his family on the 21st of December, 2019.

Hilario was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to his parents Eulalia Prieto and Luis Loya. He spent most of his life in Mexico then moved to the US to live near his kids and grandkids in early 2000.

Hilario married the love of his life Claudia Morales January 5, 1961. Together, they were blessed with 7 children, 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Hilario cherished every moment he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a special relationship with each of those who called him grandpa.

He had a great passion for all things music. Having played the saxophone most of his life, he was able to play alongside several musical groups, mostly made up of family and close friends. In his later years, some of his grandchildren had the great privilege of sharing the stage with him whenever possible. There were few things in life that made him smile as much as his spouse, family and music.

Hilario lost the love of his life temporarily on the 8th of December of 2017, when Claudia returned to her Heavenly Father.

We know that at this very moment, as we mourn your loss, you celebrate the reunion with the loved ones that have gone before you.
