SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Google released its annual list of the year’s fastest-rising search requests around the world, and in Utah, the top requests came from those trying to watch World Cup matches.

Utah’s fastest rising search request on Google this year was “World Cup schedule.”

Other top trending Utah searches included “Joan Rivers,” ”Medal Count” and “Ferguson Missouri.”

Utah’s top “How To” searches were “How to dance,” ”How to sing” and “How to screenshot.”

The top “What is” query from Utah searchers was “What is mutton.”

Around the world, the top search requests were “Robin Williams,” ”World Cup,” ”Ebola,” ”Malaysia Airlines,” and “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.”

Google’s technology processes about two out of every three search requests made on the Internet.
