October 16, 1944 – December 8, 2019 – (age 75)

Glen Richard Stott, 75, of Fontana, California, passed away unexpectedly on December, 8,  2019 in Fontana, California. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Grant and Helen Stott.

Glen was on the South High track team and graduated in 1963. He was called to serve in the Spanish American Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After he returned from his full-time mission, he attended the University of Utah and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.

While attending the University of Utah, he married Lois Blacker. After graduating they re-located to Southern California. There Glen received his MBA at Cal-State while working for the City of Los Angeles. 3 years after graduating with his MBA, they moved to Providence, Utah and Glen worked for Valley Engineering in Logan. Glen and Lois had 7 children and later divorced.

In 1985 Glen married Conchita “Chiki” Moore. They made their home in Fontana where Glen enjoyed making his yard into a wonderful secret garden. Together they made a beautiful home where many fun memories were made. Glen finished his career working as an associate civil engineer after more than 20 years for the City of Ontario, California. Some of his projects included the Ontario Mills Mall and the Ontario Airport. Glen was also an accomplished author, writing and publishing 5 books. Glen was extremely proud of all of his children’s successes and took great pleasure in being Papa to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Glen is survived by his wife, or as he would endearingly call her “his girlfriend”, Chiki, and their 13 children: Kimberly (Gary) Earl, Gregory (Amanda) Stott, Matthew (Becca) Stott, Gary (Becky) Stott, Kevin (Angie) Stott, Amanda (Adam) Moser, Lavona (Wendell) Howell, Gina (Dan) Truman, Benita Moore, Selina (Brian) Nuzum, Tonya Moore, Sheila Moore, and Willa (Stacy) Moore. Along with 43 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and his 2 brothers Gerald (Kathy) Stott and Wayne Stott. His death is a great loss to all of them and he will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Helen Stott, his two sisters Jane Musselman and Shirley Pappin, and his infant son Marc Stott.

Services will be held at Lake Hills Memorial in Sandy, Utah, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. Viewing begins at 10:00am followed by chapel services at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
