Glen Kay Reid, 78, passed away November 27, 2019 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho. He was born July 6, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of James Oliver and Anna Albertha Mellor Reid.

He married Mary Kingdon on July 29, 1963 in Evanston, Wyoming. She preceded him in death.

He loved animals, especially pigeons and chickens. He also loved woodworking, building sheds, and pens for his animals. He enjoyed horse riding, camping, and riding his 4-wheeler around town. He worked as a ranch hand and mink farmer.

He is survived by three sons and a daughter, Troy (Madi) Reid of Meridian, Idaho; Wendee Reid of Fall City, Washington; Todd (MaryAnn) Reid of Preston; Chad (Whitney) Reid of Fall City, Washington; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, six sisters and one brother, Dorothy Monteir, Claudia Caster, Robert Reid, Sharon Wissler, Linda Christensen, Janet Frier, and Sherry Buck. He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny, and by four siblings.

Funeral services were held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Weston Idaho Second Ward Chapel. A viewing was held Friday from 1:00 – 1:45pm at the church. Interment in the Weston Cemetery.
