LOGAN — Agents with the Cache Rich Drug Task Force arrested three people on felony drug charges after raiding a Hyrum home early Thursday morning.

Logan City Police Captain Tyson Budge said SWAT team members served the warrant after agents were told the suspects may be armed.

Hyrum resident Christopher Bassett was arrested at the home near 300 South 300 West. The 31-year-old came to the door as agents were about to enter and was taken into custody without incident.

Budge said agents found several firearms and drugs inside the home.

The second suspect, Michael Keller was later tracked to a motel at 865 South Main in Logan. The 32-year-old’s car was found outside in the parking lot.

Budge said agents served a warrant to a room in the motel where they arrested Keller and 35-year-old Christy Orlinski. Both are from Eugene, Oregon. Inside the room agents found drug paraphernalia, a handgun and several stolen identifications.

It is believed that the three may be responsible for multiple burglaries throughout the area.

The three were booked into the Cache County Jail. Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
