September 9, 1927November 29, 2019 – (age 92)

Delphia Rudd, 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Ontario Oregon, Friday November 29, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.

Delphia was born on September 9, 1927 in Stone, Idaho to William R. and Irene Bunderson. When she was 13 years old her family moved to Tremonton, Utah where she graduated high school, and subsequently accepted a position with Utah Power and light.

In 1946 and 47, she met and fell in love with Oris Rudd, a young soldier who was just returning from War. The two were wed for time and all eternity on April 22, 1948 in Logan, Utah and over the next 10 years, they were blessed with 5 children.

She began her married life with Oris in Logan, Utah and later moved to Monticello, Utah as well various cities in Oregon including Salem, Lakeview and Madras, where she began and operated a successful custom interior design and drapery business. In 1975 she and Oris moved to Ontario where she continued her work in interior design for several more years.

She and Oris served three service missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England, The Philippines and Micronesia as well as a genealogy mission in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her life was always one of caring and service, and she was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her spouse, Oris Rudd of Ontario, 3 Children, Judy Herzberg of Parma, Idaho, Brian Rudd of Brentwood, California and Vickie Hibbard of Boise, Idaho, two brothers, Harold Bunderson of Meridian, Idaho and Cleo Bunderson of Tremonton, Utah, 19 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Robert Rudd in 1953 and Janet Dunn in 1999, three brothers, Olene, Lloyd and Vernon Bunderson and one sister, Nona Knighton.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the LDS Stake Center, 1705 NW Fourth Ave, Ontario, Oregon. There will be a viewing at 11:00am at the same location. Interment will be in Tremonton Utah.
