January 9, 1943 – January 7, 2020 – (age 76)On January 7 2020 Connie Broadhurst Edwards passed away peacefully.
She was born to Bessie Briggs Broadhurst and William L. Broadhurst on January 9, 1943 in Redding, California.
She Married William G. Bradley on May 28, 1958 in Reno, Nevada and they divorced in 1960. She married Darwin E. Edwards on August 18, 1960 and they divorced in 1979.
She is the Mother of two Children, Michael D. Edwards born August 31, 1960 and LaVar D. Edwards born October 15, 1965.
She was an avid crafter. She painted beautifully and loved to learn new crafts even up to her last few weeks. She was never afraid to go on a new adventure and loved the mountains; The Tetons were her personal favorite. She was a very loving, sassy, caring person and would tell you to just laugh, live and be yourself no matter what anyone else said!
She was preceded in death by son, Michael D. Edwards (stillborn), Mother, Bessie Smith, Father, William Broadhurst. Step-mother Laura Broadhurst, step-father, Woodrow Smith, sisters, Marla Jean Smith and Wilma Schultz, brother Kim Alan Smith.
Her surviving relatives are LaVar and Christine Edwards, Boyd L. and Linda Smith, brother and sister-in-law. Stepsisters: Terri Moran and Sandra Caldwell. Grandchildren; Tyson L. Edwards and Miranda F. Edwards.
We would like to thank all the nurses from Signature/Hospice and the nurses and staff from Malad Hospital/long term care for all of your help, guidance and loving care the last few months.
We would also like to thank Jill, Crazy, Christy and Janita for all of their Love, caring and support over the last year. We appreciate everything you have done! You are our Guardian Angels!
Services will take place in the spring at Teton cemetery.
