Photo by Fox Broadcasting/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Fox has announced August 7 as the premiere date for BH90210, the highly anticipated series that re-teams former Beverly Hills 90210 co-stars Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling.
The new show is based on the popular 1990s teen drama, only with a new twist: the seven former teen idols will be playing fictionalized versions of themselves in a premise about their relationships with each other.
Sadly, their former co-star Luke Perry died in March at 52 years old, following a stroke.
