* Avengers: Endgame — Following the devastating events of last year’s Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins, leaving the Avengers and their remaining allies to undo the actions of Thanos — played by Josh Brolin — and restore order. The ensemble cast also features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Danai Gurira and Brie Larson. Rated PG-13.
Opening in limited release on Friday:
* The White Crow — Ralph Fiennes directed and stars in this film inspired by the book Rudolf Nureyev: The Life, by Julie Kavanagh, which chronicles the defection of a Russian ballet dancer — played by Oleg Ivenko — to the West. Rated R.
