LOGAN — Police are looking for two men who reportedly robbed the Super 8 Motel at 865 South Main Street.

Logan City Assistant Police Chief Jeff Curtis said two men wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and masks walked into the motel early Monday morning and pulled a gun on the clerk.

According to the clerk, one of the men pointed a semi-automatic looking gun at him and told him to get on the floor. The second man then bound the clerk’s hands with duct tape.

The men stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled out the west end of the building.

The clerk called police after the men fled.

Curtis said police reported to the scene at approximately 3:38 a.m. They found the clerk in the office area. He was not injured.

The suspects are both described as white and slim-to-medium builds. One suspect was 5’10” wearing a green mesh camouflage face mask and a black hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect is approximately 6’1″ wearing a black mesh face mask and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
